Kenneth D. Lee, Esq.

Mr. Lee is the founder of the Law Offices of Lee & Kim.  He has over 30 years of experience representing foreign companies doing business in the U.S.  For many of these companies, Mr. Lee acts as outside general counsel providing them with a wide variety of legal services.  Mr. Lee also represents high technology start-ups providing them with legal counseling and services related to formation and financing issues, as well as all general legal issues.  Mr. Lee has extensive experience with corporate formations, financing and venture capital investments, licensing, intellectual property protection, mergers and acquisitions, contract and settlement negotiations, joint ventures, and litigation management.

Mr. Lee began his legal career with a large international law firm in San Francisco specializing in the representation of foreign companies (mostly from Asia).  Mr. Lee is a member of the California State Bar.  He received his BA from Columbia University in the City of New York and his JD from New York University School of Law where he was an editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics.

J Hewon Kim, Esq.

Ms. Kim's practice focuses on immigration where she has a great breadth of experience handling every type of immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications and petitions.  Ms. Kim has represented many Silicon Valley and foreign technology companies in the management and legal processing of immigration matters for the lawful transfer of foreign nationals to fill HR talent requirements.   The primary focus of her immigration practice has been in business immigration matters such as H-1B, E-1/2, L-1, TN, and Permanent Lawful Resident processing in all preference categories.  She typically works with HR and management level teams in screening and initiating cases for filing and in executing all the steps necessary for a foreign national to join the company by a target start date.   For her company clients, she has established internal immigration law compliance programs and facilitated the maintenance of the documentation required for visa processing.  Ms. Kim has also provided training to HR personnel to address inspections and onsite visitations by the USCIS and immigration related agencies.  She provides company clients with updates on current events on employment immigration and visa availability issues.
